The 12th Annual East Coast Cricket Festival was held on June 17th at the Tall Timbers Park in South Brunswick , New Jersey with the participation old boys' cricket teams representing Ananda, Nalanda, Royal, S. Thomas', Trinity, St Joseph’s, Maris Stella and St. Peter's.

The event organized by the Ananda College Old Boys’ Association East Coast Chapter has undoubtedly established itself as the biggest and most looked forward to Sri Lankan community event in the East Coast of USA. This year's was once again a grand success with more than 400 guests attending from all East Coast States of USA

The ACOBA event, aptly named a festival, is more than a cricket tournament. It is a potpourri of sports, entertainment culture, and community service. This year’s festival was replete with "Papara" music from several live bands and musicians, food stalls offering everything from Lamprais and Kothu Roti to hot tea, children’s groups raising funds for animal shelters and Dhamma school, activities and entertainment for kids, and a volleyball tournament on the side that was open to all. Sri Lanken Air Lines was the main sponsor of the event. The Sri Lankan Medical Association held a free Health clinic to all participants.

The 13th edition of the East Coast Cricket Festival is planned for 2018 June.
